When I contacted Melanie, I was nervous because it was my first makeup wedding trial. We decided to do the trial the same day of my bridal shower because that way I didn’t waste a full face of makeup. I don’t use airbrush. However, I use high-end foundations that are long wearing, suitable for any weather conditions, agrees with all skin types, transfers well on HD camera, and will look natural in person.
Airbrush is not suitable for all skin types and is not easy to touch up, which is why I prefer to use liquid and cream foundations.
Yes, I can! With the unpredictable weather and depending on your skin type, makeup is not guaranteed to stay on all day. If you’re planning on having your photos taken, it’s nice to have a professional makeup artist by your side to make sure your makeup stays beautiful.
I use a variety of high end products, which include: Chanel, Giorgio Armani, NARS, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Hourglass, Cle De Peau, By Terry, etc. As well as specific makeup products used for photo-shoots.
